Usher Hall

The Usher Hall is a concert hall in Edinburgh.

The hall was opened in 1914, acted as architect Stockdale Harrison and Howard H. Thomson. Construction of the hall was made possible by a donation from the patrons and whiskey producer Andrew Usher ( 1826-1898 ). The hall has 2200 seats on three levels. Above the stage a pipe organ is installed. Classical concerts but instead of jazz, pop, and rock concerts. 1972 Hall of Euro Vision Song Contest was held in the Usher.
