USS Tacoma

USS Tacoma was the name of four U.S. warships:

  • USS Tacoma (1893 ) (sometimes written Takoma ), a Tug Boat purchased in 1900, 1937 for scrapping
  • USS Tacoma (CL -20) (originally Cruiser No. 18. ), A protected cruiser of the Denver -Class - Launched in 1903, retired in 1924
  • USS Tacoma (PF -3), lead ship of the Tacoma - class patrol frigate classified as ( patrolling the frigate ), launched in 1943; 1951 as Taedong (PF -63 ) to the Republic of Korea, scrapped 1973
  • USS Tacoma (PG -92) (ex motor gunboat PGM -92), a gunboat ( patrol gunboat ) of the Asheville - class, launched in 1968, decommissioned in 1995 and as a coast guard boat ARC Quitasueño (P 112) delivered to Colombia, later used there in the customs service
  • Ship name of the United States Navy
