USS Taylor

USS Taylor is the name of three ships of the United States Navy, named after Admiral Henry Clay Taylor, Admiral William Rogers Taylor or Commander Jesse J. Taylor, a Navy pilot who was killed in the Vietnam War:

• USS Taylor ( DD -94 ), a destroyer of the Wickes class in service 1918-1938
• USS Taylor ( DD -468 ), a destroyer of the Fletcher class, in service 1942-1969
• USS Taylor ( FFG- 50), a frigate of the Oliver Hazard Perry class, in service since 1984

• Ship name of the United States Navy
