USS United States

The name USS United States contributed four ships of the U.S. Navy, but only one has been put into service under this name:

  • USS United States (1797 ), the frigate and the first flagship of the United States Navy
  • USS United States (CC- 6), a battle cruiser of the Lexington class, stopped at 12 % construction progress and disassembled
  • USS United States (CVA -58), an aircraft carrier, which was then canceled five days after keel-laying
  • CVN -75 was designated as the United States to Kiel, for political reasons, but during construction in USS Harry S. Truman (CVN -75) ' renamed
