USS Yosemite

Two ships of the United States Navy have been named Yosemite.

  • The USS Yosemite, one in 1892 under the name El Sud put into service cargo ship, which was equipped in 1898 under the name Yosemite as an auxiliary cruiser and 1900 fell by shipwreck in loss.
  • The USS Yosemite, a destroyer tender, which was taken in 1944 in service and sunk in 2003 as a target ship.
