Utah State Route 9

The Utah State Route 9 - also known under the name of Zion Park Scenic Byway - is a highway in Utah. The Utah State Route 9 begins at Exit 16 of Interstate I-15 in Washington and ends in Mount Carmel Junction on U.S. Highway 89 over a length of about 91 km, it first runs in an easterly direction in the valley of the Virgin River and enters the valley West Fork of the Virgin River north of Springdale in Zion National Park one. After crossing the Zion -Mount Carmel tunnel he runs between the Clear Creek Mountain and the White Cliffs as Zion -Mount Carmel Highway to the east, where it ends in Mount Carmel Junction in the valley of the East Fork Virgin River.
