Ute Hasse

Ute Hasse ( born September 16, 1963 in Düren ) is a German former swimmer who competed for the Federal Republic of Germany. She won in 1984 with the medley relay an Olympic silver medal.

Ute Hasse started for swimming and sports friends Bonn 1905. 1983 and 1984 she was German champion in the 200-meter breaststroke. In 1984 she was with the Bonn team German team champion in 1985 she won another championship with the Bonn medley relay.

At the European Championships 1983 in Rome, she was sixth 200m breaststroke and won the medley relay bronze. At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles Hasse finished sixth 200m breaststroke. About 100m breaststroke she missed the finals just like the German champion Angelika Knipping; the B race won Ute Hasse and thus was ninth. The medley relay in the cast Svenja simplicity, Ute Hasse, Ina Beyermann and Karin Seick took second place behind the U.S. season.
