Ute Kircheis-Wessel

Ute Wessel (* as Ute Kircheis, March 18, 1953 in Niederaussem ) is a German foil fencer who has fought from 1971 to 1984 in the national team. Their greatest success was winning the gold medal in the foil team at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. She is a member of the Olympic fencing clubs Bonn and takes still active in seniors competitions, where she German champion with the Women's Foil Team 2009 was, among other things.
