Ute Noack ( born January 27, 1943) is a former German swimmer.

Career

In 1962 she improved twice the European record in the 100 meters butterfly, 1964, she improved the European record in the 200m butterfly.

Their European record in the 100 meter butterfly, she lost in the final of the European Championship 1962 in Leipzig to the Dutch Ada Kok, behind the Noack won the silver medal. With the 4 × 100 meter medley relay, she won the title ahead of the Netherlands, as Ingrid Schmidt, Barbara Göbel, Ute Noack and Heidi Pechstein lined up a world record in 4:40,1 minutes on 23 August 1962. This season was Sportsman of the Year award at the elections in the GDR Team of the Year. In the same year she received the Patriotic Order of Merit in silver.

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 Ute Noack missed the semi-finals in fifth the entry into the 100 -meter butterfly final.

Ute Noack launched for the Berlin TSC.
