UTE

UTE ( Administración Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Eléctricas ) is a state-owned power company in Uruguay.

UTE was founded as a legal entity of public law on October 21, 1912 by Act No. 4273. It carries the current name since adopted 25 July 1974 Law No. 14,235 renaming. The legal basis is the Organic Law Nr.15.031 of 4 July 1980. 's Legal domicile of UTE is located in Montevideo. The corporate headquarters is housed in the so-called Palacio de la Luz. The current President of the company conducting five-member Board is Gonzalo Casaravilla. The position of Vice President holds César Briozzo. The slogan of the company is: La energía de todos.
