Utladalen

The Utladalen is the deepest valley in Norway. It is in the area of the commune Årdal in Sogn og Fjordane county. The valley is about 40 km long and surrounded by 50 peaks higher than 2000 m. Through the valley of Utla flows, starting with Vettisfossen, Northern Europe's deepest unregulated waterfall, and opening into the Årdalsvatnet.
