Utoni Nujoma

Utoni Daniel Nujoma ( born September 9, 1952 in Windhoek ) is a Namibian politician. He is the son of the founding president Sam Nujoma and a member of the Central Committee of SWAPO and Justice Minister of his country.

Life and education

Utoni Nujoma holds degrees in law from the University of Warwick in England (1991) and Lund University in Sweden (1995).

Political career

Utoni Nujoma was first elected to the Central Committee of the Party in August 2002 by the SWAPO Congress. He was from 2005 to 2010 Member of the National Assembly and Vice - Minister of Justice in the Cabinet Pohamba I. In 2007 he was confirmed in the Central Committee of SWAPO. From March 2010 December 2012 he served as Minister are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
