Uulu ( German Uhla ) is a village (Estonian küla ) in the Estonian rural community Tahkuranna in Pärnu County. It has 545 inhabitants ( as of 2000).

In addition to the scenic location on the Baltic Uulu is known particularly for his church. The building was built in 1880 strongly supported by the German Baltic Guard Captain Gotthard Reinhold Baron Stael von Holstein. Stael von Holt Stone, who lived in Uulu from 1848 until his death in 1892, had as chamberlain at the Tsarist court in St. Petersburg has some influence in the Russian Empire. The church was extensively renovated in 2007.

The castle-like mansion of the manor of former Uulu was destroyed in 1917. A riverside park Uulu ( Uulu Jõgi ), which flows through a channel directly into the Baltic Sea, ideal for walks. There was in 1867 the first Estonian song festival for the parish instead of Pärnu, one of the first ever in Estonia and Livonia.

One hundred year old oak trees leads to partially eight meter high dunes over after Häädemeeste. In the vicinity are the final resting places of the local Baltic German nobility.
