The Uvs Nuur (Mongolian Увс Нуур; Tuvan Успа - Холь, Uspa -Chol; Russian Убсу - Нур, UBSU - only ), with an area of about 3350 km ² the largest lake in Mongolia.

The lake is part of the basin of the Great Lakes in the north- western Mongolia. The most important tributary is the Tes ( Tesiin Gol ) from the northeast. The largest located close to the lake city is Ulaangom to the southwest. In 1997, the Biosphere Reserve Uvs Nuur Basin was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
