Uwe Harttgen

Uwe Harttgen ( born July 6, 1964 in Bremen ) is a former German football player, official and sports psychologist. He played mainly at Werder Bremen, initially as an attacking midfielder and towards the end of his career as a sweeper.

Career

As a player

Harttgen began his career as a footballer in the adult area, unusual for a future professional in the circle class B, where he played as a recreational athletes with friends. The first semi-professional stop was the then Oberliga Mahndorf FC, ​​where he was discovered by 23- year SV Werder for the second team, who was looking for a senior leadership players. Two years later, during the season 1989 /90 Harttgen was first used by the people of Bremen in the Bundesliga. Harttgen could fight in the starting eleven in the second half of the season. In the golden age of Bremen early 90s, he remained a regular player, but in the 1993/94 season he could attend for health reasons only a single game in the Bundesliga. Harttgen moved in 1994 to Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga 2, for this club he came in two years, 37 missions and scored 4 goals. During the 1995/96 season he went back to SV Werder, where he mainly played in the second team. 1997/98 he came again to five Bundesliga inserts. Overall, he came to the first league to 82 games and 15 goals.

As a psychologist and officials

Harttgen first worked as a psychologist in the junior power center of the SV Werder Bremen before the summer of 2007 the young manager of the club, Werner Wolf replaced. On 5 July 2007 Harttgen was also Werner's successor in the Regional Committee as the representative for the second teams of the Bundesliga.
