Uwe Hüser

Uwe Hüser ( born August 21, 1958 in Koblenz ) is a political appointee in Rhineland-Palatinate and a former official of the association and member of the Bundestag ( Alliance 90/The Greens ).

Education and work

After attending school in Koblenz Hüser studied 1980-1986 Economics at the RWTH Aachen. From 1991 to 1992 he was Chief Financial Officer from 1992 to 2003 and Managing Director of the Federal Nature Conservation Federation Germany ( NABU) in Bonn. From 2003 to 2011 he was Head of Department at the Consumer Federation in Berlin. From 1 October 2011 to 31 July 2012 Hüser was president of the Structural and Approval Directorate Nord in Koblenz.

Since August 1, 2012 Hüser is State Secretary at the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Climate Protection, Energy and Regional Planning Rhineland- Palatinate.

Policy

Hüser is a member of the District Association of the Greens in Koblenz since 1980. From 1982 to 1987 he was a member of the State Executive Committee of the Green Party in Rhineland- Palatinate. At the general election in 1987 he was elected on the regional list Rhineland-Palatinate of the Greens in the German Bundestag, where he remained until the end of the 11th legislature in December 1990. In the Bundestag Hüser was a regular member of the Finance Committee and Parliamentary Secretary of the Green parliamentary faction.

Criticism

From 12 to May 16, 2013 Hüser traveled with his wife to an appointment to Italy. He was present together with a business delegation Italian investors the Palatinate as an attractive business location. The journey led the Secretary of State to Turin, Milan and Bolzano and Hüser let himself and his wife by his driver in the official car of Mainz chauffeured to Turin. Upon arrival, the driver stayed, went the next day without Hüser back to Mainz and picked at the end of the trip the Secretary of State and his wife back to the company car from.
