Uwe Wolf ( 2012)

Uwe Wolf ( born August 10, 1967 in Neustadt on the Wine Route ) is a former German football player and current football coach.

Career

Player

The defender played from 1974 to the 1st FC 08 hole hatred. In 1985 he went to SV Waldhof Mannheim, but remained there only a year. From 1986 to 1989 he was in the squad of SV Edenkoben. As of 1989, Wolf played in the Bundesliga; to 1994, he completed 81 games for the first FC Nuremberg, where he scored five goals, and in the 1994/95 season nine games for TSV 1860 München. He then moved to Mexico for a few years. For a year he played with Necaxa, with which he could win the championship in 1996. Then he ran to one year for Puebla FC and Venados Yucatan. During this time, Uwe Wolf received the nickname El Lobo ( "The Wolf "). In 1998 he returned to Europe, one season he was in the squad of SV Wüstenrot Salzburg, 1999/2000 he played for Dynamo Dresden. At the end of his active career, he still went after a year in Portugal for SC Freamunde.

Coach

Uwe Wolf was 2003-2007 coach of the Junior TSG Hoffenheim. In the 2007 /08 season he coached the U23 TSV 1860 München. Since the summer of 2008, he was assistant coach of the first team. After a leave of absence of head coach Marco Kurz on 24 February 2009 Wolf took over the management of the team until further notice. After a 5-1 win in the first game against FC St. Pauli Wolf has been confirmed by sporting director Stević until end of season as head coach. On May 13, Wolf, however, was prematurely replaced by Ewald Lienen after the team had been retracted only twelve points in eleven games with the Wolf line. From the season 2010/11 he was assistant coach of FC Ingolstadt 04, where he was fired along with coach Michael Wiesinger on November 6, 2010 after a weak start to the season with only four points from their first 11 games.

As at 9 January 2012 on Wolf took to succeed Christian Hock the post of head coach at the regional league KSV Hessen Kassel. After the 11th place last year Wolf won with the lion in the 2012/13 season the championship in the Regionalliga West, but missed promotion to the third division. In June 2013, coaches and club could not agree on a contract extension. Wolf was in his time in Kassel as good, but more difficult coach. Due to an incident on June 17, 2013, Kassel hotel around Wolf filed a display for trespassing and insulting.

On September 13, 2013 Wolf became the new coach of SV Wacker Burghausen in the 3rd league. He took over the team on the bottom of the table with only one point from eight games.

Wolf is married since 4 May 2009.
