V1494 Aquilae

V1494 Aquilae was a nova, which lit up in 1999 in the constellation eagle and a brightness of 5.03 mag reached. It was discovered Da Roca (Portugal ) from the amateur astronomer Alfredo Pereira from Capo on 1 December 1999.

The name portion of " V1494 " follows the rules for naming variable stars and states that V1494 Aquilae is the 1494te variable star, which was discovered in the constellation Aquila (Latin Aquila).
