V2: Vertical Velocity

The Inline Twist

V2: Vertical Velocity at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom ( Vallejo, California ) is a steel roller coaster model from Twisted Impulse Coaster manufacturer Intamin, which opened on 8 June 2001.

The layout of the track is quite simple. Before and behind the station there are two towers. The rear tower has a slope of 90 °, while the front tower, only a gap of about 45 °, but has a 360 ° twist. This is also unique in this model, as in other tracks this model both towers have a slope of 90 °. The train is accelerated by means LIM out of the station at around 105 km / h and goes up the first tower. Then the train rolled backwards down the tower again and through the station by, in which it is accelerated again, on the second tower up. So the train commutes several times between two towers back and forth while he is re- accelerated in the station.

V2: Vertical Velocity has a train with seven cars. In each car, two people can (a series ) take place. As restraint system come shoulder strap for use.
