Vachon River

The Rivière Vachon is a left tributary of the Rivière Arnaud in northern Ungava Peninsula in the Canadian province of Québec.

The Rivière Vachon springs from the Parc National des Pingualuit altitude lake Lac Manarsulik. The river flows in a predominantly south-easterly direction through the northeast part of the Ungava Peninsula and finally empties into the lower reaches of the Rivière Arnaud. The river has a length of about 250 km. The catchment area of ​​10,400 km ² comprises Rivière Vachon. Important tributaries are Kimber and Rivière Rivière Trant from left and Rivière Rivière Leridon and Lestage from the right.
