Václav František Kocmánek
František Václav Kocmánek (* 1607 in Prague, † 1679 ) was a Czech poet, writer and historian.
Life
After the Battle of White Mountain Kocmánek did not want to leave Bohemia and therefore converted to Catholicism. The Prague educated citizens taught his whole life as a cantor in Prague.
Work
In addition to poems about the hard life in the villages, from which it is apparent that it is this suffered from the wars most, he also wrote seven interludes.
