Václav Kubíčka

Václav Kubička ( born September 28, 1939 † January 21, 2005 in Rüsselsheim ) was a Czech gymnast and national coach of the German Turner.

Life

In 1968 he left after the Olympic Games in Mexico City his home country of Czechoslovakia and joined the Federal Republic of Germany. He was in the 1970s and 1980s in Frankfurt, the head coach of the German Olympic squads, including also that of the team of 1972 in Munich, in Montreal in 1976 and in Seoul in 1988.

Kubička had married the Czech gymnast Jana Posnerová selection. He died at the age of 65 after a long and serious illness. His three sons are / were successful trampoline gymnast.
