Václav VorlÃÄek
Václav Vorlíček ( born June 3, 1930 in Prague) is a Czech film director.
He has been instrumental in the success of the Czech film industry in the fields of fairy tale film and comedy. After his training at the Film Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (1951-1956) he worked for the Barrandov Film Studios as a director and screenwriter. Vorlíček worked for many years together with the screenwriter and writer Miloš Macourek.
