Vacuum grease

As vacuum greases masses are referred to as normal greases assume similar sealing and lubrication tasks, but also have properties that are favorable at very low pressures.

Properties

• The viscosity is high enough not to be compressed by the pressure difference between atmosphere and vacuum sealing of columns.
• If possible, lower vapor pressure
• Chemical stability even at low and high temperatures, and often in special conditions such as ionizing radiation
• Often called the stability against oxygen, ionized gases and radicals
• Particle generation due to high viscosity and high stability
