Vadim Bogdanov

Vadim Andreevich Bogdanov (Russian Вадим Андреевич Богданов; born March 26, 1986 in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union ) is a Russian handball goalkeeper.

The 1.97 -meter and 100 -pound goalkeeper initially played with the Russian club Medwedi Chekhov, with which he took in the 2007/ 08 season in the EHF Champions League. From 2010 he was the league rivals GK Neva St. Petersburg under contract. Since the summer of 2012 Bogdanov guarded the gate of the White Russian first division club HC Dinamo Minsk, with whom he was 2013 champion and cup winner. After the withdrawal of Minsk in February 2014, he joined in March for the Polish club KS Azoty Pulawy.

Vadim Bogdanov was in the squad of the Russian national team for the European Handball Championships 2010, 2012 and 2014. He played 17 matches so far.
