Vadose zone

The unsaturated zone is the area of the soil is called in soil science, which is above the water table and the capillary rise by saturated capillary space (apparent groundwater surface ) and is not permanently saturated with water. The pores are partially filled with air. The unsaturated zone is characterized by a downward movement of leachate.
