Vaindloo ( German and Swedish Stenskär ) is an Estonian island in the Baltic Sea Gulf of Finland. It belongs administratively to the village Vainupea in the rural community Vihula in Lääne -Viru county.

Vaindloo is Estonia's northernmost island. It is 600 m long and 200 m wide. Vaindloo is known for its 17m high lighthouse; it was built in 1871 ( predecessor of wood from 1718). Next to it is a station of the Estonian Border Guard with a 50 m high observation tower and a radar on the island.
