Vajiravudh College

The Vajiravudh - boarding ( Thai: วชิราวุธ วิทยาลัย, Vajiravudh College) is a Thai general education private school in Dusit, Bangkok, which receives exclusively boys.

The educational program begins with the 4 class ( Prathom 4) and goes through 12th grade ( Mathayom 6).

The school is located in District ( Khet ) Dusit, Bangkok.

There are three houses for grades 4-6 and six houses for grades 7 to 12, the main building is the Vajiramongkut building. There is also a meeting hall, to be held in the larger events

Idea and daily routine today

King Vajiravudh (Rama VI. ), Founder and namesake of the boarding school, aimed to train young men who were using their individual properties for the benefit of the country and the people after completion in the situation. You should have a strong mind and a healthy body develop so that they can go through life independently. In addition, emphasis was placed on to refer loyal citizen.

The daily routine starts at 5 clock 45 and goes for the elderly to 23 clock.

Foundation

King Rama VI. ( Vajiravudh, reg. 1910-1925 ) founded shortly after his government takeover on December 29, 1910 School of royal pages, the Royal Page School ( Royal Pages School). First, a wooden building on the canal Prem Prachakorn was built. 1911 began teaching, which took place in a stone-built building since 1915. There was then a central meeting hall and at all four corners of a building for the classroom.

Under King Prajadhipok (Rama VII ) the name of the school was changed to Vajiravudh College.
