Val Fuentes

Val Fuentes ( born November 25, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American drummer and was a member of the West Coast rock band It's a Beautiful Day.

First, he starred in several blues clubs in Chicago. Having had moved to the West Coast, he became in 1967 one of the founding members of It's a Beautiful Day. Fuentes is the only musician who is actually listening to all It's a Beautiful Day recordings. In addition, Fuentes played with local rock bands known as Shadowfax, Fat Chance, the New Riders of the Purple Sage, Chris Rowan of the Rowan Brothers and Linda Imperial band.
