Valderice
Valderice is a municipality in the province of Trapani in Sicily region of Italy with 12,143 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012).

Valderice located 11 km east of Trapani. The inhabitants living on an area of 52 km ² of agriculture and the processing of marble.
The neighboring municipalities are Buseto Palizzolo, Custonaci and Erice.
History
The village was a suburb of Erice. In 1955, the community declared itself independent. By the year 1958, called the place Paparelle San Marco. The name Paparelle is also still on maps. From here you can get on a road with many switchbacks to Erice.
Attractions
The parish church dates from the year 1950. Tonnara di Bonagia, the old, no longer used today tuna fishing place, situated on the coast.
