Valdo Cândido de Oliveira Filho, short Valdo ( born February 12, 1964 in Siderópolis, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil ) is a former Brazilian footballer.

He played 1986-1993 65 times for the Brazilian national team, where he came to a total of six goals. At the World Championships in 1986 and 1990, he was in the squad of the national team and in 1989 he took with the Seleção the fourth title in the Copa América. At the Olympic Summer Games in Seoul in 1988, he won with the selection of his country the silver medal in football.

At the age of 40 years, he ended his football career.
