Vale of tears

Vale of tears is a biblical description of the existence of the wandering people of God on its way through the desert as the valley of tears. The one in the Greek Septuagint " κοιλάδι τοῦ κλαυθμῶνος " (Valley of Lamentation ) and in the Vulgate reproduced as vallis lacrimarum ( valley of tears ) term goes back to the concept of the psalm tradition, which is Germanized today as " arid arid zone '
