Valerie Wilson Wesley

Valerie Wilson Wesley ( born November 22, 1947 in Connecticut ) is an American journalist and writer.

Life

Growing up on U.S. military bases in Spain and Germany, she studied philosophy and journalism at Howard University, a private university for African Americans. Her articles have appeared in the New York Times, in women's magazines such as Essence or Family Circle, in German in the world week. The German translations of her novels - with the detective novel series A case for Tamara Hayle - are published by Diogenes Verlag. Your children's books, including the seven -volume series Willimena Rules have not yet been translated into German! .

She is married to playwright and screenwriter Richard Wesley, with whom she has two daughters.
