Valerio Zurlini
Valerio Zurlini ( born March 19, 1926 in Bologna, † October 27, 1982 in Verona ) was an Italian film director and screenwriter.
Life
Valerio Zurlini studied law and gained experience at a student stage. In 1948, he began with the turning of short documentaries. The first full-length feature film was made in 1954. Zurlinis films where he was mostly responsible for the script, were realistic, on the other hand but also poetic stories with great empathy for the circumstances of the persons involved. His last film, The Tartar desert Il deserto dei after the novel Tartari by Dino Buzzati, was also his most famous international.
