Vali von der Osten

Vali of the East, also Vally of the East, ( born November 29, 1882 in Dresden, † August 15, 1923 in Kassel) was a German singer (soprano ).

Vali of the East was the daughter of actor Emil von der Osten (1847-1905) and Rosa von der Osten - Hildebrandt ( 1850-1911 ).

She studied singing in Dresden and worked mainly at the court theater in Kassel, where she sang in the young dramatic Wagner roles shone ( "Elisabeth" in Tannhäuser, "Elsa" in Lohengrin, "Eva" in Die Meistersinger ).
