Valiulla Yakupov

Waliulla Machmutowitsch Jakupow (Russian Валиулла Махмутович Якупов; scientific transliteration Valiulla Machmutovič Jakupov; born September 4, 1963 † July 19, 2012 in Kazan ) was a personality of Islam in Russia. He was deputy to the Supreme Mufti of Tatarstan, Ildus Faisow, and leader of the Muslim clergy Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan ( Duchownoje Uprawlenije Mussulman Respubliki Tatarstan ). He died in an attack in Kazan, the capital of the Russian republic of Tatarstan.
