Valkmusa-Nationalpark
The Valkmusa National Park (Finnish Valkmusan kansallispuisto ) is a national park in Finland.
Geography
The National Park is about 17 km ² and is located at 60 ° 33 'north latitude and 26 ° 42' east longitude, about 100 kilometers east of Helsinki. The area is located in the region of Kymi on the territory of the municipalities Pyhtää and Kotka.
Vegetation and wildlife
The park is a unique for Finland swampland. In addition, a rich bird life exists, including breed here Crane, Osprey, Common Redshank, grouse and Waldammer. The National Park is also an important resting area for migratory birds.
History
The national park was founded in 1996.
