Vallelunga Pratameno

Vallelunga Pratameno is a city in the province of Caltanissetta in the Italian region Sicily, with 3592 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Location and data

Vallelunga Pratameno located 50 km north- west of Caltanissetta. The inhabitants mainly work in agriculture. There are cultivated cereals, almonds, olives and legumes.

The neighboring municipalities are Cammarata (AG), Castronovo di Sicilia ( PA), Polizzi Generosa (PA ), Sclafani Bagni (PA ), Valledolmo (PA) and Villalba.

History

The present town was founded in 1633.
