The Association of Vallendar is an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the district of Mayen -Koblenz in Rhineland- Palatinate. The municipality includes the town Vallendar and three independent local churches, the council is based in the eponymous city Vallendar.

History

The community association goes back to the office Kurtrierische Vallendar with the villages Vallendar, Hill Scheid, HÃ ¶, Mallendar and Weitersburg, which was created in 1767. 1802 has been extended by Engers and Grenzhausen. 1815 was attributed to the transition to the Kingdom of Prussia, a new office Vallendar, which significantly reduced only Vallendar, Mallendar and Weitersburg included.
