Valter Matošević

Valter Matošević ( born June 11, 1970 in Rijeka) is a Croatian handball player and former national player of the Croatian national handball team.

From 2005 to 2007 he was Keeper of the Handball - Bundesliga Club HSG Wetzlar. He let dissolve his contract there in order to devote himself claims to be the construction of an apartment complex in his home in 2007; but three days later he signed a new contract with the Spanish top club SDC San Antonio. In January 2011, the TuS Nettelstedt - Luebbecke Valter Matošević committed for some games in the winter, due to the injury of the root goalkeeper Nikola Blažičko.

Matošević won at the Olympic Games in both 1996 and 2004 gold with the Croatian national handball team. In addition, he won the Croatian national handball team gold at the World Handball Championship 2003.
