Van 't Hoff equation
The van ' t Hoff equation or the van ' t Hoff - Reaktionsisobare (after Jacobus Henricus van ' t Hoff ) describes in chemical thermodynamics the relationship between the position of the equilibrium of a chemical reaction and the temperature ( at constant pressure ):
In which
- The equilibrium constant
- The temperature
- The reaction enthalpy
- The universal gas constant.
