Vanessa Beecroft

Vanessa Beecroft ( born April 25, 1969 in Genoa) is an Italian performance artist. She studied from 1983 to 1987 Architecture in Genoa and 1988-1993 Stage Design at the Brera in Milan. Since 1994, she Introduces World's spatial installations with partially nude, stylized female and male models as tableaux. In contrast to classical performance, the artist is not directly involved, but acts as a director in the background. Vanessa Beecroft lives on Long Iceland in the U.S. state of New York.

Similar body sculptures also makes Spencer Tunick, but this only works with amateurs and predominantly in free space.
