Vanessa Menga started her career in professional tennis in 1995. In individual they never made it into the top 100 in the world rankings.
Successful it was in doubles. There she won 33 ITF tournaments. With two Olympic Games she went to the double for their country. In 1999, she won along with Joana Cortez the double competition at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada.
From 1995 to 2002 Vanessa Menga played for Brazil in the Fed Cup. Your personal balance sheet is at 8:7 victories in singles and 13-9 in doubles.
In February 2001 she posed for the Brazilian edition of men's magazine Playboy.
