Biography

Youth

Vanessa Petruo was born in 1979 as daughter of actor and dubbing speaker Thomas Petruo and its Spanish- Peruvian wife Mercedes. She is the granddaughter of radio and synchronous speaker Heinz Petruo and has a brother and a sister. From 1988 to 1992 Petruo attended the Catholic school Saint Paul in Berlin- Moabit, followed by the Catholic Church of Our Lady -Gymnasium in Berlin- Westend. Petruo is a vegetarian and was seen at events as well as posters of the animal rights organization PETA.

No Angels

In September 2000 Petruo was one of five women who were selected as part of the first season of RTL II broadcast Casting contest Popstars as members of the girl group No Angels.
