Vangelis Moras

Evangelos " Vangelis " Moras (Greek Ευάγγελος " Βαγγέλης " Μόρας, born August 26, 1981 in Larissa ) is a Greek football player who since 2012 stands at Hellas Verona under contract.

Career

Association

Evangelos Moras started his professional career in 1999 with AE Larisa in the third highest Greek league, the Gamma Ethniki. Once in his debut season, he could not prevail, he received in the 2000 /01 regular forces in Larisa. After two years with Larisa he left the club and joined AO Proodeftiki to. After he played ten games in the following season for Proodeftiki, he could ascend to the team for the end of the season in the Beta Ethniki. A year later succeeded the next rise and Moras could ascend with the team in the Super League.

The club was doomed to relegation in 2003 due to insolvency and the defender signed on a contract with AEK Athens. In Athens, he was able to quickly establish themselves in the interior defense of the capital city and ran in four years in a total of 72 league games for the sports club on. In the summer of 2007, he left Greece and moved to Italian club Bologna FC. His first season with the Emilia Africans he denied even in Serie B, but after a year of promotion to the highest Italian league. In the season 2008/ 09 he managed finally to impose itself as an important part of the team. He ran in 31 appearances for Bologna and scored two goals. Together with Andrea Raggi and Daniele Portanova it forms in the season 2009/10 the defense of Emilianer. After brief guest appearances at Swansea City and AC Cesena he plays since summer 2012 for Hellas Verona.

National

Moras debuted on 11 February 2009 in a friendly against Denmark for the Greek national team. On 1 April 2009 he completed at home to Israel for the qualification of the World Cup 2010 his first competitive game for the Greeks.
