Vania King

Vania King ( Chinese:金久慈; born February 3, 1989 in Monterey Park, California) is an American tennis player of Taiwanese descent. Her parents emigrated in 1982 from Taiwan to the USA.

Career

Vania King began at the age of four years playing tennis. It was 2006 professional player and achieved in a single in November of the same year with 50th rank their best ever placing in the WTA world rankings.

At the U.S. Open she came in 2006 in the mixed doubles ( mixed) with her partner Vincent Spadea to the quarterfinals, but it lost to Justin Gimelstob and Meghann Shaughnessy 4:6, 6:1, [ 7:10 ]. In Wimbledon 2010 she celebrated her greatest success with the title win in the doubles side of Yaroslava Shvedova, with which they also triumphed in the same year at the U.S. Open. 2011 followed by two more doubles titles on the side of Shvedova.

King won on the WTA Tour to date a single and fourteen doubles titles and stood at twelve other WTA tournaments in the final. In June 2011, she was quoted in the double World Ranking to Rank 3.
