Vannellidae
The Vannellida are a group of amoeba -like unicellular organisms and are among the Amoebozoa.
Features
In motion, the amoebae have a flattened, fan - to spatula- shape. True pseudopodia or Subpseudopodien not occur, the front location hyaloplasm ranges up to half of the cell. The rear location Granuloplasma is "hump" concentrated in a manner which can extend beyond the substrate.
The cell envelope is constructed in different ways: a layer of hexagonal prismatic structures in Platyamoeba from short Glycostylen ( complex flexible structures on the cell surface ) and at Clydonella Lingulamoeba. In Vannella is pentagonal Glykostyle place with or without simple filaments. At least one taxon is Sporokarpe and is protosteloid, so resembles members of the genus Protostelium.
