Vannes OC

Vannes Olympique Club (or in Breton Gwened Olimpek Club ) is a French football club based in Vannes, the capital of the French department of Morbihan in Brittany.

It was created by the merger of two clubs, Veloce Vannes Vannes and FC ( founded in 1892 ) until 1998, and has quickly risen to the second highest French league. The club colors are black and white; league team plays at the Stade de la Rabine, which has a capacity of 9,500 seats.

Club president is Michel Jestin; the first team is coached by Thierry Froger since December 2012. (As of September 2013)

League membership

Excellence (Division 1 since 2002 in Ligue 1 renamed) the club has not yet to have been; In 2008, he first rose to the Ligue 2 and had therefore, assume also for the first time, professional status.
