Vanuatu national rugby union team

The Vanuatu rugby union team represents the island situated in the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu in the Rugby Union. The team is classified as a national of the third category by the International Rugby Board (IRB ).

History

Vanuatu debuted in 1966 on the international stage. After two defeats and one victory in three games walked only 35 years later, in 2001, again a national Vanuatu rugby field.

In the years 2003 and 2007 they tried to qualify for the Rugby Union World Cup. But you failed, also due to lack of match practice, both in the first qualifying round. Low point was the 3:97 defeat against Papua New Guinea.
