A steam cleaner is a device for use in industry and household, the water evaporates and emits through a nozzle.

The effectiveness of a steam cleaner depends mainly on the temperature and pressure of the steam jet.

Depending on the device a relatively cooler water vapor is produced with temperatures around 150 ° C or " hot steam " with temperatures above 300 ° C and delivered with a high or low pressure. This is possible particularly efficient removal of greasy soils with low water and chemical consumption.

Common household appliances tend to work with low temperature and low pressure to avoid damaging the objects to be cleaned and minimize the risk of accidents.

If an additional pump is installed, the unit can operate at high pressure and is no longer called a steam cleaner but as a high pressure cleaner.

Various accessories allow numerous application areas. Of branded household appliances as well as steam irons can be connected.
